3. The C8 chassis cross brace is made from carbon fiber tubes and polished 304 stainless steel hardware. This makes the brace extremely strong yet lightweight.

• The strut cross brace utilizes straight lines and overengineered components to maximize strength and rigidity, making it far stronger than the actual loads on the brace. Dome shaped all carbon fiber braces that do not attach to the strut provide far less torsional rigidity improvement (4% vs 8%).
