Released April 25, 2025, Oh What a Beautiful World finds Willie Nelson exploring the work of longtime friend and collaborator Rodney Crowell across a carefully chosen 12-song set. Produced by Buddy Cannon and issued via Legacy Recordings, the album features Crowell himself on harmony vocals on the title track and lead single.

While Nelson first recorded a Crowell song in the early 80s, this is the first time he’s dedicated an entire album to the songwriter’s catalog. His unmistakable phrasing brings out new depth in Crowell’s lyrics—soulful, weathered, and deeply lived-in. Critics have called the record “radiant” and “a splendid addition” to both artists’ legacies, with No Depression and Hot Press noting how naturally Crowell’s writing fits within Nelson’s world.

Oh What a Beautiful World is Nelson’s 77th solo studio album, and another late-period highlight in a career that continues to evolve without losing its centre.

Maestro House Mini Coffee Scale
I have begun to drink tea, pu’erh tea to be specific. I have several varieties and I have had a problem with getting consistent results. The varieties can be very different in size depending on when the leaves are harvested (leaves harvested in spring are much smaller). So the easiest way to get consistent results is by weight. This scale is very easy to use with a ceramic tea scoop, set the tea scoop on the scale, zero it out and add tea leaves. This has made my results much better, without the wild swings in strength I had been getting before trying to eyeball even measures. This scale gives me accurate measurements to one tenth of a gram.
