artist biography
Karl Hugo Olsson was born 16 August, 1905 in Ronneby. He was a Swedish painter.
Olsson was mainly self taught as an artist. He mainly exhibited during the 1950s and 60s in both solo and group exhibitions. Select solo exhibitions include one in Karlskrona in 1952 and one alongside Svante Kede in Uddevalla in 1953. He painted in oil and pastel and is best known for his still lifes and landscape paintings.
Olsson passed away in Grundsund at the age 84 on 31 January 1990.
