RUNS THREE-PHASE MOTORS FROM SINGLE-PHASE POWER AT 2/3 RATED HP*

Delta-wound motors are very rare in the USA, occasionally being found on some imported equipment, and are particularly found on German and Italian machines.Phase-A-Matic™ Static Phase Converters have been developed, tested, and thoroughly proven over a 46 year period demonstrating exceptionally high reliability and long life. These converters are the workhorse of many commercial uses and multitudes of home shop machines.
LIFE EXPECTANCY: The Static Converter has been in use for approximately 52 years and has already proven itself to be extremely reliable when properly applied. Phase-A-Matic™ was recently able to purchase back the first one that was ever sold, and it is still working fine. It is reasonable to expect the converter to be in good working condition and service for 20 or 30 years or more. We continue to hear back from customers who have them still running their equipment faithfully after 20 years and more.
Uses include: Lathes, Mills, Grinders, Drills, Saws, Metalworking and Woodworking Equipment, Printing Equipment, Sewing Machines, Garbage Disposals, Food Processing Equipment, Meat Grinders, Food Mixers and Blenders, Conveyer Belts, and numerous other uses.
METHOD #1
Using the Phase-A-Matic™ Static Converter only will produce approximately 2/3 normal HP.* This method is inexpensive, the most popular, provides excellent results on most machines tools and numerous other uses. Motor speed is not changed. Most two-speed motors, power feeds, coolant pumps, etc., will operate normally. Motor will instant reverse. There is nothing to change. All switch gear will work normally.

METHOD #2
FOR FULL OR CLOSE TO FULL HP
~~ Configure as a rotary converter using Phase-A-Matic™ static unit ~~
Full or close to full HP can usually be obtained by running a three-phase motor and Phase-A-Matic™ Static Converter combination as shown on the Installation Instructions. When running unloaded, the windings of the motor function as a rotary transformer or generator while consuming very little extra power. The Idler Motor needs to be at least 50% larger than the largest motor that you want to run to accommodate the higher starting current. A good quality 3600 RPM, three phase wye-wound, 220V motor is the best choice. 1800 RPM motors can be used on applications not heavily loaded. Used three-phase motors are inexpensive and readily available.
When using this method, it is possible to run multiple machines as long as the idler motor is large enough to handle the largest load it would ever have at any one time. For instant reversing of the load motor, as in rigid tapping, the idler motor must be a minimum of twice the HP rating of the load motor, and perhaps more.
The Static Converter is sized to the HP of the idler motor, not the load motor(s).

Very Powerful Frother!!

I’ve been using a frother daily for my drinks, and this one really impressed me with its power for such a compact size. It blends heavier powders into smooth, clump-free mixtures in seconds.
I’m a big fan of the build—the metal whisk gives it a solid feel, and it comes with a stand to keep it neat on the counter instead of being shoved in a drawer. Cleaning is a breeze, just a quick rinse, and the rechargeable battery lasts much longer than I anticipated between charges.
Just a little tip: start in a taller cup and don’t fill it all the way to the top, as this thing can create a serious vortex if you’re not careful. Overall, it’s been a super handy little tool, and I’m so glad I bought it.

Mixes my protein shake powder

My husband and I both drink protein shakes daily. We have vortex mixers that work great, but they are plastic and getting old, and really needed to be replaced.
In an effort to reduce microplastics in our lives, I am trying to use less plastic mixing cups. I couldn't find anything small enough (other than regular blenders) with glass and metal parts that would work well for us.
During my search on here, several frothers showed up. This one caught my eye because of the amount of sales, quick delivery, and of course, decent pricing. Some of the reviews had me a little skeptical, and time will tell regarding the longevity, but so far I am pleased.
My protein powders are on the heavy side, but this little frother really gets the job done. Instead of having to use separate mixing cups (saving me on dishwashing), I just use my morning coffee cup (it's big enough) to mix my protein shake in. My husband just uses a regular glass.
Neither of us can believe the power this little thing has. We are getting smooth shakes!
Here is what I really like about it: It is powerful and mixes well; the frother is metal and not plastic; it cleans extremely easy; after making several shakes the battery has not died; can be used in glasses, coffee cups, even disposable cups (when we buy donut shop coffee); and I love the little stand which takes up barely any counter space. Less plastic, less clean-up, dependable (so far), and small, making it convenient even for travel.
I'm really glad I got this, and hope it will last. One last thing, do not turn it on while cleaning under running water. (Yes, you can laugh.)
